Ok, guys here it is. The top 10 J250 Land Cruiser Overland & Off-Road Builds at SEMA 2024. This year was the year of the 4th Gen Tacoma and the J250 Land Cruiser and the Land Cruiser portion did not disappoint. There were some stunning builds out there this year. We saw a lot of Dissent Off-Road bumpers, KC Lights throughout and new brands to the space as well. Enjoy and let me know which one was your favorite. 1. DISSENT OFF-ROAD Dissent Off-Road is no stranger to the Land Cruiser space. They have been building parts for the Land Cruiser and many other Toyota platforms for decades. This, in my opinion, is one of the top contenders for the best-looking J250 Land Cruiser builds of 2024. From the custom roof rack and front/rear bumpers - every piece of armor on this truck was designed in Colfax, CA by Dissent Off-Road. There were also a few other builds out there at SEMA rocking Dissent Off-Road armor. This J250 is also running an Icon suspension, Icon Alloy wheels, Hankook A/Ts, Agency6 grab handles on the roof, some epic livery, and more. The white wheels on the Trail Dust Land Cruiser loaded with KC branding looked killer. 3. Doetsch Off-Road The custom build, by Doetsch Off-Road, includes RAGO Fabrication exterior upgrades such as a front bumper, bullbar, roof rack, molle panels, and skid plates. It also features Black Rhino "AWOL" 17” matte black wheels, a Warn EVO-10s winch, Dobinson’s 3” adjustable coil-over lift, and KC HiLites lighting with a 30" light bar. Additional gear includes an FSR Aspen rooftop tent, Kammok "Crosswing" awning, and Rotopax accessories, making this a well-equipped, off-road-ready vehicle. RPM Off-Road Garage RPM OPff-Road Garage had a pretty dialed land cruiser out as well. White on bronze with a Dissent Off-Road bumper and Baja lights throughout - damn this was a clean build. 5. KC Lights x TOYOTA KC HiLiTES killed it with this one. White on white with super clean livery heritage stripes and custom KC mods throughout. KC debuts their new roof rack on this build which features their PRO 6 light bar, and FLEX Era singles out back. They also debuted a set of ditch lights with custom powder-coated bezels and of course a pair of ditch light brackets. If you're going for the ultra-clean and classic look - this is it. 6. CALTY ROX This one speaks for itself. Calty Design Research works directly with Toyota for innovative design solutions for Toyota and Lexus product development and supports North American production design. 7. Milltek Milltek Corp is a company that specializes in exhaust systems and they brought one solid looking J250 build to SEMA this year. 8. ARB USA ARB USA launched a very "ARB" style line to the J250 as well. Front and rear bumpers, skid plates, rock sliders and much more. This was definitely a stand out J250 Overland build at SEMA 2024. 9. IRON Man 4x4 Iron Man 4x4 showed up with all new branding along with their J250 Overland build in addition to a 4th Gen Tacoma build. 10. Westcott Designs Last but certainly not least (and this post is in no specific order) is the Westcott Designs Baja Land Cruiser. This was probably the most "custom" land cruiser build at SEMA next to the CALTY spec. Jeff and his team at Westcott Designs widened the body by 8" all the way around. They did a ton of sheet metal work on the fenders, doors, hood, and more. In addition to all the bodywork, the Wescott 250 has a triangulated 4 link in the rear with an insanely custom gas tank relocation out back, full interior cage, super intricate sheet metal work on the interior, custom seats with custom seat brackets, a very "Baja" style front clip with pre-runner lighting and bumper and much more. This was one of the best land cruiser builds at SEMA this year for sure.

When I first saw the CALTY ROX in the teasers I thought the a-pillar accent was a snorkle. Nope. CALTY just decided to add an accent on both a-pillers. It's kind of an interesting design though. Almost like they could potentially turn this into a MOLLE pattern with the ability to add ditch lights in almost any configuration. Pretty cool design accent nonetheless.
