In this video, I compare the 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser 1958 to the Land Cruiser Premium (also known as just “Land Cruiser”) to help you decide which trim is right for you. I had the LC1958 for about a week and came up with some thoughts on if it was wroth the $$$ savings over the Land Cruiser Premium.
The Land Cruiser 1958 is the heritage-inspired base model with classic round headlights, fabric seats, and a rugged, minimal interior. It’s built for off-road fun without the luxury fluff. On the other hand, the Land Cruiser Premium trim upgrades the experience with rectangular projector headlights, leather-trimmed power seats, a 12.3” digital gauge cluster, JBL premium audio, and more modern tech and comfort features.Both trims feature the same powerful i-FORCE MAX 2.4L turbo hybrid engine with full-time 4WD and Toyota’s trusted off-road capability.
