Magnetic Oil Drain Plug

So I am looking to put on some new shoes but I am concerned that I will be limited by the size options at the spare location. What is the largest tire I can reasonably fit in the spare location? It appears to be 285/70R17, but I would be interested in seeing what others have gotten to work.

I was happy with how well the magnetic drain plug worked since the last oil change. I used a M12x1.25mm plug (Votex - DP006) with an oem crush washer.
