OME BP51 Suspension Coming For 250 Land Cruiser

Some super exciting news. We're taking the LT250 build to the next level and upgrading the rear end. Wicked Creations has my LC250 currently and is getting ready to fab up a 3 Linked Cantilever. It will have 8" Coilovers and Bypasses on each corner (front & rear) as well as 2.0 bump stops. We're guessing roughly 15-16" of travel. My +3.5" LT arms up front have 12-14" of wheel travel. So the rear end will perform slightly better. I'm hoping in the next year or 2 Wicked Creations will make a +5" kit for the new gen platform. That way it will be evenly matched at 16" of travel front & rear. Then she'll really float. Once the 3 link is completed I'll upload another post with pictures, and a video of how it performs/articulates. For now here's some pictures of the same thing on a 5th Gen 4Runner. Which they are hoping it's very similar too which makes the install process easier. For anyone who doesn't know what a 3 link or cantilever is here's google's overview: "A 3-link cantilever suspension combines the structural benefits of a multi-link suspension with the space-saving advantages of a cantilever design, creating a compact and flexible system that improves wheel travel and stability. The 3-link refers to an axle with two lower control arms and one upper arm, along with a panhard bar for lateral movement, while the cantilever system uses a pushrod and a rocker arm to transfer forces to the shock absorbers mounted on the chassis rather than the axle. This arrangement allows for increased articulation, better shock absorption, and optimized design flexibility, especially in tight spaces".

While at SEMA 2024 I was checking out the Land Cruiser at ARB’s booth and saw that it had OME BP51 suspension up under it. I’m super excited for this because I’ve ran this suspension in the past and it’s been amazing! It’s awesome to see them already working on a new setup for the 250LC.
