How is everyone camping out of their LC250? (If camping at all LOL)
I've been rocking an RTT on my 5th Gen 4Runner for over a year now and love it. But lately, especially in the winter have also enjoyed sleeping inside the car.
Now that I have the Land Cruiser I'm starting off with this awesome sleep platform to see how it differs. It has tons of storage underneath, is super sturdy and quick to setup. If you know what you are doing I'd say about as much time as a bigger RTT like an Ikamper. It took me about 10-15 to unbox it and set it all up.
Definitely a little bit stealthier as well. And it has an extension for extra length, all you have to do is slide the seats forward and attach it.
I think the only other thing I need is some custom shades/privacy covers for all the windows.
What does everyone think? Are you picking a sleeping platform, rooftop tent, ground tent, is dealing with that sloped plastic piece digging into your back all night?
I'll be testing the platform out for the first time this week on a quick overnighter and also on my way to drop the cruiser off in California for some custom suspension work.
If you want to follow along for the LC250 transformation you can find me on Instagram and YouTube @ Kai__Larsen.
