Trail Dust vs. Heritage Blue – Which Color Wore It Better?

Hey guys, if you are looking for the battery on the 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser and cannot find it under the hood, you are not alone. That was the first place I looked too, and I was pretty confused at first. On the new Land Cruiser, the battery is actually located in the rear of the vehicle, not under the hood like most people would expect. This is due to the hybrid components under the hood. I figured I would make this quick post to help save someone else the time and confusion. Toyota’s two-tone options on the First Edition really stand out — Trail Dust with Grayscape Roof and Heritage Blue with Grayscape Roof both hit hard in person.

I went with Heritage Blue — super classic and really pops with machine polished blue wheels. But that Trail Dust? It’s got old-school FJ vibes all day.

For anyone running one of these colors, how does it hold up in person and in different lighting? Any regrets? Has anyone wrapped or color-matched accessories yet?
