Hey guys, just wanted to throw this out there in case it helps someone working on a 2025 250 Land Cruiser for the first time.
When I was replacing my front struts, I ran into an issue tightening the upper ball joint. The threads just kept spinning on me and would not snug up, and honestly I was trippin because I thought I had messed something up.
What ended up working for me was putting some leverage on the upper control arm with a pry bar while tightening it. That little bit of pressure helped seat everything and stopped the threads from spinning, then it tightened up no problem.
So if you run into that and start thinking you broke something like I did, maybe try that before freaking out. Figured I would share because it definitely threw me off the first time.
Below are some visuals
