Brake squeal issue on new Land Cruiser 250

Who else is having brake squeal issues on their new Land Cruisers? I notice every time I base out of my driveway during cold start, the brakes make a high pith screeching noise. This has been an issue with the new Tundra, Sequoia, and also GX. All of those now have a TSB to fix the issue. My dealer could not duplicate the issue which is annoying….cuz it happens every time.

¿Quién más tiene problemas con el chirrido de los frenos en sus nuevos Land Cruisers? Me doy cuenta de que cada vez que salgo de mi camino de entrada durante el arranque en frío, los frenos hacen un chirrido de médula alta. Esto ha sido un problema con la nueva Tundra, Sequoia y también GX. Todos ellos ahora tienen un TSB para solucionar el problema. Mi distribuidor no pudo duplicar el problema, lo cual es molesto ... porque sucede todo el tiempo.

I'm having the same problem. My dealership says it a known problem and Toyota is working on a fix. Hopefully it will be sooner than later.

2024 LC 1958. My brakes do the same thing everytime I back up..

The fix will more than likely be like the same as the Tundra, new rotors, pads and shim kit, some folks were waiting up to a yr.

Mine squeal when backing up the morning after a rain or a humid night. It’s loud, but I’ve never been concerned by it, especially since it only happens with the initial braking. It had happened with many vehicles I’ve owned, typically due to the layer of rust that forms on the rotor overnight.
