With the i-FORCE MAX hybrid powertrain in the new Land Cruiser, I’m curious what everyone’s thinking in terms of long-term maintenance.

Toyota says the battery is covered under warranty for 10 years/150k miles, which is solid — but what happens after that? How easy is it to service the battery, electric motor, or hybrid-specific components?

Also curious how this setup handles things like extended off-road trips, heavy towing, or long periods without driving. Anyone spoken to their service department yet about what’s considered routine maintenance on the hybrid system?

Let’s build a thread to track owner insights and service tips over time — especially from anyone with high mileage already.
