Curious how everyone treated their Land Cruiser during the break-in period.
Toyota recommends varying throttle and speed for the first 1,000 miles and avoiding full-throttle starts or heavy towing. I followed it mostly, but I’ll admit I got a little throttle-happy in Sport mode around 700 miles in. Also I did an early road trip with it but the vehicle already had 500 ish miles on it when I bought it.
For those who went full throttle early — notice anything with performance or fuel economy long term? And for those who took it easy, any noticeable difference now that you’ve passed 2–3k miles?
Just trying to get a feel for how this hybrid setup responds to different driving habits out of the gate.
