I’ve seen Toyota rate the 2024 Land Cruiser for 6,000 lbs towing capacity, but I want to know how it actually performs in real-world use.
Anyone tow a travel trailer, boat, or utility trailer yet? How does the hybrid system handle power delivery under load? Do the brakes feel strong enough on downhill grades?
I’m considering towing a small overland camper (~3,800 lbs loaded), and I’d love to hear how it handles long trips, hills, and tongue weight. Also, curious if the suspension sags at all and whether anyone’s running weight distribution hitches. I towed a buddy of mines and it felt solid. However I am in Flat Florida, but it felt strong going over bridges.
