Things I Wish I Knew Before Buying the Land Cruiser 250...

I haven't considered an ECU tune for my LC250. But I know they are starting to be released. And I know the NA V6 platform owners raved about them being best dollar for performance mod they did. What's out there for the 250 series? And has anyone done it yet? I'm curious how well it does, how noticeable performance increases, and if there's any issues etc... This is my first brand new vehicle. And I've heard ECU tunes can be a cause for Toyota to deny powertrain warranty/replacement. Starting this thread for current owners to share what they wish they knew about their Land Cruiser 250 before buying. And for anyone who's looking at buying a 250 to ask current owners any questions you might have.

I have a 2024 1958 trim and will answer any questions I can!

One thing I wish I knew before buying my 250 is how all time 4wd/AWD systems work and that if you have a CV axle issue when offroading the vehicle is stuck until all 4 are functional.

I'm sure another popular comment will be about the small 18 ish gallon tank also.
