2020 LC 200 Heritage Edition

One of the first and most common questions when someone starts to build their rig is "what tire size can I fit". On the previous platforms, fitting a 285 was generally the maximum tire size you could fit before having to do some major trimming and modifications. The amazing guys at 74 Weld have been making portal systems that allow you to fit larger tires, have insane clearance and increase the stance of your vehicle all while using the stock suspension. You no longer have to get a crazy offset wheel or install wheel spacers to get that poke that we are all looking for, and you no longer have to max out the height of your aftermarket suspension to get the lift you are after.

This beautiful 2024 LC250 in Trail Dust has the 74 Weld Portal system installed. The portals give it almost 4" of lift (3.9" to be exact), and gives an additional 2.75" of poke without the need for a negative offset wheel. The owner of this rig has been able to fit a 37x12.50x18 wheel, along with what looks like the BBS Forged TRD Pro wheels in a positive 47mm offset. No major modifications had to be done in order to fit this. If I was going to try and fit 37" tires on my 5th Gen 4Runner or our LC200, I would be trimming, bashing liners, pinching welds and cutting up fenders for a long time. They are definitely pricey but if you have the means, this is insanely worth it. What do you guys think?
