Let’s talk trail readiness — how capable is the 250 Series Land Cruiser in factory form?

It comes with full-time 4WD, a locking center diff, optional rear locker, Crawl Control, and Multi-Terrain Select. On paper, it sounds ready to tackle moderate trails right off the lot. But how’s it really doing out there?

I’ve taken mine on a few forest service roads and light sand climbs. The low-end torque from the hybrid is great, and Crawl Control works well — but it’s noisy and feels a little “digital” compared to the old-school setup.

Anyone done real wheeling yet — Moab, sand, snow, or technical terrain? Ground clearance okay stock? Anyone aired down yet or taken it on a trail with stock tires? I took one of Toyotas LCs out in Moab and it was on 20s aired down to 20ish PSI and it honestly surprised me how good it did on Hells Revenge.

Let’s hear your first trail impressions — or what upgrades you think are truly necessary.
